Tips for contact QR codes
Keep it short: every field makes the code denser and harder to scan from a small business card. Name, phone, email and website are usually enough. Print at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide.
Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. They’re static codes with your data inside, so they work as long as the link itself works.
Can I track how many people scan my code?
Not with a static code. Add tracking parameters (such as ?utm_source=poster) to your link and check your website analytics instead.
Is it free for commercial use?
Yes. Use the codes on menus, packaging, flyers or anything else.
Why won’t my QR code scan?
Usually low contrast, too small a print size, or too much data. Shorten the text, use dark-on-light colours, and print larger.
